TAXES AND DUTIES
Taxes and duties are calculated according to your shipping destination and itemized on the Order Summary page. Make sure you select your location to view the correct local market pricing, delivery times and shipping costs.
We ship to most locations on a DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) basis, which means that all relevant import taxes and duties will be included in the product price.

If a DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid) destination is selected, product prices displayed are exclusive of all taxes and duties.
Once your order arrives at its destination, you will be required to pay all import duties, customs and local sales taxes for where you’re shipping to. After you have placed your order, we’ll email you to request your acceptance of these terms. For an estimate of taxes and duties on your purchase, contact your local customs.
Duties are not applicable for Australian orders under 1000 AUD. Goods and Services Tax (GST) will be displayed at checkout. The total you pay when placing your order includes all tax and duties owed to customs. Please note, you will not be charged any further costs when your delivery arrives.
Please also be aware that due to the way we deliver to Australia and for Australian Customs purposes, customers are named as the importer of record. As part of this, NET‑A‑PORTER is required to supply Australian Border Force with a customer’s Customs Client Identifier or “CCID”. If you do not have a CCID, then Australian Border Force will set one up on your behalf.
A standard rate of 13% VAT will be applied to orders shipped to China.
Sales and Services Tax (SST) will range from 0% to 10% and any applicable tax will show at checkout.
A standard rate of 15% GST will be applied to orders shipped to New Zealand.
HOW TO TRACK YOUR ORDER
Our delivery time starts from the moment an order is accepted and includes a 24-hour period where your items will be processed and dispatched.
Once your order has left us, you’ll receive an email /sms with your tracking information so you can follow its progress. You can also check the status of your delivery by viewing My Orders in your account.
Delivery Processing Times
Before we can dispatch your purchase, we may need to confirm your details with your card issuer. We’ll do our best to keep delays to a minimum.
We work closely with our delivery partners to minimize the potential impact of customs delays.
Signing For Your Purchase
You can rest assured that we‘ll keep your purchase safe until it reaches you. Your order is insured against theft and accidental damage during delivery. If you won't be in, you can choose to waive the signature on the shipping page at checkout. Please be aware that if no signature is collected, you agree to our terms and conditions and take full responsibility for any loss or damage that may occur.

RETURN YOUR PURCHASE
As soon as you’ve decided you’d like to exchange your purchase, let us know. You have 14 days from the date you received your goods to follow the below steps:
1.Sign in to your account and under My Orders, select the order number containing the item(s) you would like to return.
2.Click on the “CREATE EXCHANGE” button and choose your preferred size or style for exchange.
3.Check the box to agree with our Return Policy. We’ll then send you an email with your return instructions.
4.Sign the returns proforma invoice included in the box with your order.
5.Book your free collection:
Click on the link here or in your returns email and, after making sure your country/region is correct in the top-right hand corner of the page, enter your 10-digit waybill number. This is located under the barcode of your printed returns label. Review your details and select a convenient day and time for FEDEX to collect your parcel.
Simply visit FEDEX.COM to find the telephone number of your nearest FEDEX branch. Remember to quote our account number found in your returns email.

If you prefer, you can take your return to your nearest FEDEX service point.
SHOWROOM Drop Off
If you are in Hong Kong, you may choose to come to our showroom to drop exchange your goods. Please [contact us] for schedule arrangement.
To ensure your return is covered by our free returns policy and reaches us promptly, items must be returned from the same country to which they were delivered. Orders sent back from a different destination may incur additional charges or be delayed by customs. We prefer that items are returned to us via our own service so that they are protected and insured.
We offer a flexible returns policy to make your online shopping experience even easier. We do monitor the number of returns made by customers and continued returns in breach of our terms and conditions will be flagged and may, at our discretion, lead to the closure of your WASHI account or future orders being refused.
OUR RETURN POLICY
We do not accept refund for product.
We only accept exchange of product.
All products must be returned in a new and unused state, in perfect condition, with all protective materials in place , with all WASHI tags attached to them, and with the WASHI authenticity card . This includes all packaging, accessories and authenticity cards/Furoshiki/Box. We reserve the right not to accept any return if the product shows signs of wear or has been used or altered from its original condition in any way or, as an alternative, may reduce the amount of any applicable exchange accordingly.
Your item(s) should be sent back to us within 14 days of receiving you order. Late returns are not accepts for exchange.
We have made every effort to display the colors of our products that appear on our website as accurately as possible. However, as computer monitors, tablets and mobile devices vary, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of a color will be completely accurate.
